Acadia Ocean View Hotel Bar Harbor, Bar Harbor

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very adequate, spacious, with good beds, a TV, microwave, and fridge, all very clean. However, it was quite noisy, with the old room being loud, which may affect light sleepers. On the bright side, the service was very nice and responsive, although the plaster walls could use some soundproofing. The location was outstanding, being close to Acadia National Park and pretty close to town, striking a good balance between convenience and tranquility. I couldn't enjoy the pool or other facilities given the circumstances.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, but a bit dated, and the price was on the higher side. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, but there were some unexpected moments like the noise during dinner. The location, just outside of Bar Harbor, offered a peaceful setting but required driving to town.
